Our Mounting Process

We apply a pressure sensitive mounting process. Prints are put through rollers on top of a pressure-activated adhesive, adhering the piece to the chosen substrate. This same process is utilized from laminated and face mounting.

When mounting a print, roughly 1/8 of an inch is necessary to trim off from the print to make sure the print is applied accurately. This is why it is important to incorporate bleed in your print when planning on mounting.

We mount onto a variety of materials on a regular basis, including:

• Aluminum Composite Panel, or ACP (black, white)
• Foamboard
• Sintra (black, white, 3mm, 6mm)
• Plexi (black, white, clear, 3mm, 6mm)
• Archival Cardstock
