Framing Options

When framing an artwork, there are so many options to go over that it can be a daunting process, but we are here to help you pick out the best home for your piece!

We would always recommend booking a free framing consult with us to speak to a specialist about the best ways to house your artwork, as there are a lot of options to go over. Here are just a few of the common ones:

Top Mat

Traditional style of frame with a mat covering the edges of the print

Shadowbox

The print goes directly to the edge of the frame, or sits on top of a back mat, so the edges of the paper are exposed within the frame.

Reveal

Creates the illusion that the piece is floating within a thin outline of a frame. The frame itself tucks behind the piece rather than in front of it. Commonly used for original painting or canvas prints.
